Junkyard Category: Pick Your Part
Pick Your Part is one of the largest self-service junkyards in Anaheim. LKQ Pick Your Part in Anaheim has been providing discounted used auto parts to the public in Southern California for more than 30 years.
One of the greatest things about coming here is that they ask you what vehicle and part you need? then they give you a printed slip with all the vehicles in the yard that carry the part you are looking for, narrowing it down significantly.
There is a $2 charge to enter the part of the yard where they have vehicles from 1999 and older, but for an additional dollar you can enter the part where they car from the year 2000 to present day.
LKQ Pick Your Part excels in customer service, they are prompt to help you find the vehicle you are needing a part from, they also provide with free wheelbarrows and engine hoist to remove heavy parts like engines and transmissions. They salvage yard is organized by make and model, foreign and domestic.
Bring your own tools and help to pull those heavy parts.
From Pick Your Part website:
One think to remember about this junk yard is that all the parts are still in the cars, you need to bring your own tools and help if needed to remove them, that’s why the prices are so low, because you have to pull the parts out yourself. There are a few rules to be able to go there, obvious things like wearing close toe shoes, no jacks are allowed in the yard, no children under the age of 16 are permitted in the yard or be left alone in the premises.
LKQ Pick Your Part takes care donations and is a pure example of a community focus company, this donations can be made to the Purple Heart fundations, Cars for Kids, the Cancer centers and many more, they will provide all the documentation necessary to get it done.
